Advertising in Thailand

Advertising. A word that’s neither written or pronounced the same. Moreover, a marketing tool that is not produced or perceived in a similar way. When it comes to advertising the differences between Thailand and Germany are significant. Advertising in Thailand is regulated by government agencies and is also affected by political factors but in my opinion, most of what you see on TV is entertaining and over-the-top. It’s engrained in the culture to be able to make fun without any reason, and laugh about both the good and bad luck of others. However, ads can also be extremely moving and touching.

Here are my favorites:

Smoking

Thai Life Insurance

Chewing Gum

Cheers

Bridgestone tires

Bangkok Insurance
